Snowstorm on three Steelstrings
Karlheinz Dettweiler “Die Rheinpflalz” 9.11.2012
The
impressive
technique
of
performance
and
an
outstanding
way
of
presenting
were
the
spe-cial
features
of
the
concert
in
Winter
garden
in
the
Hall
Dettweiler.
Natalia
Anchutina,
Domra
so-lo
player
from
Moscow
and
her
accompanist
at
piano
Lothar
Freund
from
Germany
presented
to
the
audience
a
music
program
which
comprises
both
the
well
known
European
classical
mas-terpieces
as
well
as
Russian
traditional
music.
The
audience
experienced
a
perfect
harmony
and
interaction
between
two
musicians
on
the
stage,
an
enormous
precision
and
were
aston-ished
about
the
tempo
therewith
Natalia
Anchutina
played
her
instrument.
In
some
of
pieces
even
the
eyes
of
the
audience
almost
could
not
follow
the
fast
play
of
fingers
on
the
instrument,
so
impressively
fast
and
virtuoso
was
the
play
of
Natalia.
Together
with
Lothar
Freund
brought
the
charming
Domra
solo
player
Natalia
Anchutina,
who
counts
to
the
world
best
players
at
her
instrument,
the
audience
to
an
unforgettable
firework
of
emotions
and
joy
of
listening
.
During
the
concert
the
audience
could
enjoy
the
original
compositions
for
Domra
(composed
by
con-temporary
Russian
composers
and
very
rare
to
hear
in
West
Europe)
as
well
as
transcriptions
and
arrangements
of
music
pieces
originally
composed
for
classical
instruments.
Lothar
Freund
at
piano
demonstrated
an
outstanding
performance.
The
concert
program
ended
with
the
well
known
masterpiece
“Karneval
in
Venice”
of
Paganini
followed
by
enormous
applause
as
a
more
than
deserved
recognition
for
that
impressive
and
mastery
performance
of
the
artists.
