Lothar Freund studied piano and Song accompaniment in Mainz. After graduation, he works since 1989 exclusively as piano accompanist for Singers and instrumentalists. Thereby led him international concert engagements  to Schleswig Holstein music Festival, in the broadcasting hall of the Hessian Broadcasting, to radio recordings with the Bayerischer Rundfunk, to Frankfurt in the Alte Oper. Since 2007 he is a constant piano accompanist by Natalia Anchutina. In February 2017 the duo guested in the famous Carnegie Hall New York.
